Jerry Stanton has been identified by authorities as the deceased in an accident that occurred on the morning of September 16 in Blythe. Mr. Stanton, a 24-year-old resident of Phoenix, Arizona, was driving on the Interstate 10 Freeway at about 5:20 a.m. Details of the accident are sketchy but Mr. Stanton and another individual with less serious injuries were taken to Palo Verde Hospital.
