Jennifer Lee McDonald has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that took place in Susanville on January 17. Ms. McDonald, a 37-year-old local resident, was apparently on Main Street in front of a gas station when she was struck by vehicle, described as an SUV that was dark in color, at approximately 8:15 p.m. The driver reportedly fled the scene but a suspect apparently appeared and was identified. The deadly accident is being investigated by the Susanville Police Department, which is seeking out witnesses.
