Jason Char has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a motorcycle collision that took place on April 6 in Simi Valley. Mr. Char, a 38-year-old local resident, was riding his Kawasaki Ninja on Alamo Street at roughly 10:30 in the morning when he attempted to turn right onto Texas Avenue where he encountered a 2018 Toyota Corolla which was turning left into a driveway when the motorcycle collided with the car. The motorcycle reportedly traveled some length down the street and overturned. Mr. Char died at the scene. The driver of the Toyota, a 60-year-old local, was injured and taken for treatment. The collision is currently being investigated by police.
