Jami McGee has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a three-vehicle traffic collision involving two vehicles that occurred in Dos Palos on September 29. Ms. McGee, a 37-year-old local resident, was driving a Chrysler eastward on Carmellia Avenue when a Jeep Cherokee driven by Carlton Tolbert, 39 and also a Dos Palos resident, collided with her. Accounts of how the two vehicles struck each other differ but accounts agree that a parked car was also struck. The woman was killed in the crash though the time and others details have not been provided. The crash remains under investigation to determine the reasons for the collision.
