A 71-year-old local man was fatally struck by a vehicle on North Blackstone Street at about 9:00 p.m.
Tulare, CA, May 5, 2022 — James Harris Ingram has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred on May 3 in Tulare. James Ingram , a 71-year-old local resident, was reportedly struck by a vehicle at about 9:00 p.m. The incident occurred on the North Blackstone Street’s 300 block. First-responders arrived and took the victim to Adventist Health Tulare where he passed away from his injuries. Authorities have not stated any reasons for the crash. However, they do say the driver remained at the scene and that a DUI is not suspected. The Tulare Police Department is investigating the case and requesting the help of any witnesses.
