Isaac Ishak Dead after Ceres Alleged Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident

Isaac Ishak has been identified by authorities as the victim in an apparent hit-and-run pedestrian collision that occurred on September 29 in Ceres. Mr. Ishak, an 56-year-old local resident, was attempting to cross Mitchell Road­­ west of Whitmore Aveue, when he struck by a vehicle under unknown circumstance. The vehicle in question that has been described as a Dodge Caravan which is dark green in color. The driver of the minivan allegedly fled the scene but the vehicle is believed to have damage to the front-end and the windshield. The identity of the driver and the reasons for the accident are under investigation.
