Hubert Mullins has been identified by authorities as the victim in a wheelchair accident that occurred on April 1 in Fresno. Mr. Mullins, a 65-year-old Fresno resident, was reportedly crossing Cedar Avenue at 6:00 a.m., prior to daybreak, in his wheelchair. A vehicle then struck Mr. Mullins and his chair. First-responders took the man for treatment, but he perished shortly afterward. The vehicle’s driver remained and the scene and was cooperative, Fresno authorities say. The incident is being investigated to determine fault, however.
We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
