Guadalupe Arrez has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that took place in Cathedral City on January 27. Mr. Arrez, 44, was reportedly crossing Ramon Road at around 7:40 p.m. when he was hit by a car that was heading westward causing the man’s death. The driver stopped and cooperated with authorities, who say they do not believe that a DUI was a factor. Authorities also note that Ramon Road has been the site of four deadly pedestrian accidents in 2018 alone. The tragic accident is reportedly being investigated.
