Goma Pokharel has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred July 19 in the Clairemont area of San Diego. Ms. Pokharel, 67-years-old, was taking her regular evening on Ashford Street near Lindbergh Neighborhood Park after 8:00 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle described as a Dodge Ram pickup truck which may have been purchased that same day. Ms. Pokharel’s children and grandchildren operate the Taste of Himalayas Indian food chain in the San Diego and they are asking for help from the community in located the pickup and its driver. The San Diego Police Department is investigating the tragedy and seeking witnesses.
