Giovanni Corona, Fernando Morales Dead in Oxnard Solo Car Accident

Fernando Morales, 24, and Giovanni Corona, 23, have been identified by authorities as the deceased in an Oxnard single-car collision that occurred on May 17. Mr. Corona was reportedly driving a Nissan 350 Z from the early 2000s on Pacific Coast Highway at what witnesses reportedly said was a high rate of speed. Mr. Morales was the passenger. Mr. Corona apparently lost control of the vehicle, which collided with a pole and a guardrail. The passenger was reportedly thrown from the car, but both died at the scene from their injuries. Both young men were residents of Oxnard.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and families of the deceased during this difficult time.
