Ghulam Ali Khimani, an 81-year-old Torrance resident, has been identified by authorities as the victim in an alleged hit-and-run accident that occurred in the Southern California city on April 29th. Mr. Khimani was using the crosswalk on Del Amo Boulevard and Mariner Avenue, at approximately 8:40 in the evening when the elderly man was struck by a passing car. The car and its driver left the scene without stopping. Torrance police are seeking a gray or blue Honda four-door with damage to its front portion.
