George Rowlands has been identified by authorities as the victim in a motorcycle collision that occurred on May 20 in Camarillo. Mr. Rowlands, a 60-year-old Simi Valley resident, was riding a motorcycle on the Petit Street prior to 12:30 p.m. when he collided with a vehicle described as a 2-door coupe being driven by a 73-year-old Porter Ranch resident. The motorcyclist died from his injuries at the scene. The tragic incident remains under investigation by the Ventura County Sherriff’s office, which is seeking witnesses.
