Erik Herrera has been identified by authorities as the victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred on February 28 in Valle Vista, an unincorporated area outside of Hemet. Mr. Herrera was apparently on SR-74 when he was struck by an unknown vehicle at roughly 7:00 p.m. and died at the scene. Very little additional information has been released but the case is being investigated by local authorities. Mr. Herrera was 36-years-old.
