Emiaj Lane, Raul Martin Dead in Desert Hot Springs Car Accident; 2 Hurt

Emiaj Lane and Raul Martin has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a collision that occurred on August 30 in Desert Hot Springs. Mr. Lane, 22, and Mr. Martin, 24, were in a Dodge Challenger that was involved in a head-on collision at about 1:00 a.m. on Indian Canyon Drive in the vicinity of 18th Avenue. First responders were able to remove the two young men after they had become trapped in the vehicle but both local residents tragically died at the scene. Two occupants of the other vehicle were injured, one critically. An investigation is ongoing.
