Elizabeth Reed has been identified by authorities as the deceased in an alleged hit-and-run collision that occurred on September 16. Agustin Santana-Moncada, a 31-year-old King City resident, has been named as a possible suspect. The California Highway Patrol alleges that Mr. Santana-Moncada was apparently driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on Metz Road when his vehicle veered into opposing traffic, colliding with a Honda Accord that was being driven by Ms. Reed, also a 31-year-old King City local. First responders rescued the woman from the wreckage and she was taken to an area hospital, where she tragically passed on from her injuries. Another car, a Honda Civic, was involved in the collision but no one in that car was reportedly harmed. The driver of the pickup, however, allegedly fled the scene and made no attempt to help. The CHP is investigating the accident.
