Hughson, CA, October 28, 2020 — Edwin Medina-Corona has been identified by authorities as the victim in a motorcycle collision that occurred on October 24th in Hughson. Edwin Medina-Corona, a 21-year-old resident of Waterford, was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle on Baldwin Road at about 6:25 p.m. As he approached East Whitmore Avenue, Manjit Kaur Samra, a 67-year-old resident of Turlock, was driving a Toyota. Authorities allege that the driver did not give the motorcyclist the right of way and turned left into the motorbike’s path. Mr. Medina-Corona collided with auto and was thrown from his motorcycle and, reports say, died at the scene. An investigation into the reasons for the tragic accident is underway.
