Edward Lustro Dead After Palm Springs Motorcycle Accident

Edward Lustro has been identified by authorities as the victim in a motorcycle collision which happened in Palm Springs on March 18. At some time around 8:00 a.m., Mr. Lustro was riding his motorcycle on Gene Autry Trail when a Honda sedan is thought to have made an illegal U-Turn in front of him, causing the motorbike to strike the auto. Mr. Lustro, a 34-year-old Rancho Mirage resident, was a paramedic and a number of memorials were displayed in the area of the tragedy as well as on social media. The driver of the Honda remained at the scene and police do not suspect a DUI at this time.

We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the victim during this difficult time.
