Douglas Binninger, 64 has been identified by authorities as the deceased in an automotive collision that occurred on April 16 in Desert Hot Springs. Mr. Binninger was a passenger in a Hyundai driven by Ingeborg J. Binninger, 67. Authorities allege that she veered into the path of a 2014 Nissan. The occupants of the Nissan, an 18 and 20-year old woman, suffered serious injuries while Douglas Binninger died at the scened. Ms. Binninger was arrested on a DUI charge and taken to an area hospital to be treated for her injuries.
