A local woman died, two young males were injured, and a dog was killed when a BMW and a Tesla collided at San Joaquin Hills Road and Newport Ridge Drive.
Newport Beach, CA, June 14, 2022 — Donna Wildrick has been identified by authorities as the deceased victim in a pedestrian collision that occurred on June 12 in Newport Beach. Donna Wildrick, a 60-year-old local resident, was in one of the two cars, a Tesla and BMW, that reportedly collided at San Joaquin Hills Road and Newport Ridge Drive prior to 8:00 p.m. First-responders arrived but Donna Wildrick sadly died at the scene. Two young males who were reportedly in the other vehicle were also taken for treatment of injuries that were described as not life-threatening but serious. A dog also was killed in the collision. Few other details have been provided but reports indicated the Newport Beach Police Department is investigating the tragic incident.
