David Chavez, 15, 1 Other Dead; 2 Critical, in Mission Valley Accident

David Chavez, 15, has been identified by authorities as one of the deceased in an alleged DUI automotive collision that took place in Mission Valley on January 18. David was one of a number of minors who were traveling in vehicle driven by a 17-year-old. The vehicle reportedly went out of control due to speeding. The boy and another teen were killed in the accident while two others are reportedly in critical condition. The young driver has been charged with a DUI while the investigation of the tragedy continues.
