Dana Kuehl has been identified by authorities as the victim in an Oxnard bicycle accident that occurred on June 18th. Ms. Kuehl was reportedly riding her bike on Hemlock Street at roughly 5:30 a.m., say authorities, when she turned left in front of Ford Explorer which was heading in the same direction. Reports indicate that they believe the driver of the car did not have time to stop and avoid hitting Ms. Kuehl. The 44-year-old Port Hueneme resident was taken by first responders to the Ventura County Medical Center, but nevertheless perished from her injuries. The driver, described as a 26-year-old Oxnard resident, stopped at the scene and was cooperative. The tragic incident remains under investigation.
