Dale Ramquist has been identified by authorities as the victim of a collision that occurred on November 18 in Beaumont. Mr. Ramquist, a 60 year-old Banning resident, was riding his bicycle on Oak Valley Parkway when he was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup on the side of the roadway being driven by Kyle Lee Anson, a 25 year-old Beaumont resident. Although he was wearing a helmet, Mr. Ramquist reportedly died at the scene. Authorities say that the driver of the pickup, Mr. Anson, fled the scene at first, but later returned and cooperated with authorities. He has been arrested on multiple charges including murder, felony hit-and-ran, and driving under the influence. He is currently being held without bail in Murrieta.
