Dakota Posa Dead After Santa Rosa Wrong-Way Car Accident; Edgardo Sanchez Arrested

Dakota Posa has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a Santa Rosa wrong-way collision that occurred on December 12. Edgardo Sanchez was allegedly driving a stolen Honda Accord heading east on the westbound side of Stevens Creek Boulevard. The accord struck a Prius and then collided head-on with a Honda. Ms. Posa, 24, was a passenger in the car being driven by Mr. Sanchez’s. She sustained serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital, where she perished from her injuries. No one else was seriously injured in the incident. Mr. Sanchez has been arrested on multiple charges, including vehicular manslaughter, auto theft, violating the terms of hs Post Release Community Supervision, and driving with a suspended license.
