Conrado Cuica Acedo has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a solo car accident that occurred in Corona on April 11. Mr. Acedo, a 21-year-old Home Gardens was driving an older model Honda Accord with his three-year-old daughter in a car seat prior to 3:30 a.m. The car struck a pole near the crossing of Ontario Avenue and Fullerton Avenue. The young man was ejected from the car and died at the scened. His daughter received minor injuries and was later released into the custody of her mother. Police have not said whether or not a DUI may have been involved but the case is being investigated.
