Clay Abajian and Dick Tak have been identified by authorities as the victims of a November 15 small plane accident that occurred at approximately 10 p.m. near Redding Municipal Airport. Mr. Abajian, a nursing professor at Sacramento State, and Dick Tak, the plane’s pilot, were heading to Sacramento to work as part of the Angel Flight West air ambulance program. The plane crashed shortly after take-off for reasons that remain unknown. The tragedy is reportedly under investigation by the FAA and the NTSB.
