Christina Nicholson Dead in Indio Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Accident

Christina Nicholson has been identified by authorities as the victim in an apparent hit-and-run pedestrian collision that took place in a parking lot in Indio on February 3. Ms. Nicholson, 35, is believed to have been crossing Highway 111 at 2:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Clinton Street when she was struck by a vehicle who allegedly must have fled the scene without stopping. She was declared dead at the scene. Indio police are investigation the tragedy and are seeking witnesses as well as security footage that may have been gathered by nearby businesses.
