Chancellor Steven Goforth has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a solo car accident that occurred in Napa County on April 2. Mr. Goforth, a 30-year-old Paso Robles resident was driving an FJ Cruiser that came into the driveway of a home on Dry Creek Road prior to 3:30 p.m. The retro-styled SUV somehow fell into a nearby pond. Rescue teams were able to remove both Mr. Goforth and a 27-year-old passenger, a Napa resident. The passenger was reportedly unhurt but the driver was rushed by first-responders to the Queen of the Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. Police suspect that alcohol might have been a factor in tragedy. An investigation is underway.
