Celia Demolina has been identified by authorities as the victim in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian collision that occurred on October 5 in San Pablo. Ms. Demolina, an 88-year-old local resident, was struck by a vehicle at about 5:16 a.m. It was allegedly driven by Kelly Lynch, a 64-year-old Pinole resident. The elderly woman was found severely injured by first-responders but died at the scene of the collision. Authorities say they found Mr. Lynch at his home and he was charged with felony hit-and-run as well was violation of his probation. He also reportedly had an outstanding warrant related to a drug charge. The extremely sad death of Ms. Demolina remains under investigation
