Borys Cherniienko, 18, Dead in Placer County Two-Vehicle Accident

Borys Cherniienko, an 18-year-old employee of Dunk N’Run Donuts, has identified by authorities as the deceased in a pickup truck vs. minivan collision that occurred in Placer County on October 22. Mr. Cherniienko was driving a white minivan reportedly belonging to his employers shortly before 5:40 a.m. on Grass Valley Highway 49 when the vehicle reportedly crossed into opposing traffic, where it and a pickup truck collided, killing the young driver of the minivan and possibly injuring the driver of the pickup as well. The tragic accident is under investigation.
