Clovis, CA May 9, 2020 – Boon Thao has been identified by authorities as the deceased in a two-vehicle head on collision involving two SUVs that occurred November 7 in Clovis. Boon Thao, 31, was near Minnewawa Avenue and Shepherd Avenue at about 5:10 a.m. driving an older model Honda CRV when he authorities say his car crossed over the opposite lane, crashing head on with the Cadillac SRX driven by David Loux, age 83. Both individuals were taken to area hospitals by first responders but Boon Thao tragically while David Loux only suffered minor injuries. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident and seeking out witnesses.
