Anton Fischer Dead in Long Beach Motorcycle Accident

Anton Fischer, an off-duty officer of the Long Beach Police Department, has been identified by authorities as the victim in a motorcycle collision that occurred on June 4 in the city of Long Beach. Officer Fischer was on his way to work riding a motorcycle on Ocean Avenue at roughly 2:30 p.m. when a Jeep Grand Cherokee turned left in front of him at 7th Place. While the driver of the Jeep remained at the scene and was reportedly cooperative with authorities, an investigation is ongoing and witnesses are being. Officer Fischer was 33-years-old.
