Two others were injured in the early morning collision, one seriously.
San Ramon, CA, January 13, 2021 — Joseph Legrande and Andree Jamerson III have been identified by authorities as the deceased in an automotive collision that occurred on January 10 in San Ramon. Both 20 years of age, Andree Jamerson III, a Gilroy resident and Joseph Legrande, who lived in San Jose, were in a Volkswagen that was heading south on the Interstate 680 Freeway at about 3:30 a.m. along with another individual. The vehicle was near Alcosta Boulevard when reports say it veered out of its lane, hitting the freeway’s center-divider. Their vehicle was then struck by an oncoming car, a Ford Fiesta. The impact of the crash resulted in a violent car fire. First responders arrived, but not in time to save the two deceased young men. A third victim was trapped in the car but was rescued by first responders and taken for treatment at John Muir Medical Center in nearby Walnut Creek. An occupant of the Ford Fiesta was also hurt less severely and taken for treatment, reports say. The California Highway Patrol in Dublin is seeking out witnesses as the investigation into the tragic accident continues.
We extend our deepest condolences to the friends and families of Joseph Legrande and Andree Jamerson III during this very difficult time. Our thoughts also go out to the injured individuals.
