Amanda Hinman has been identified by authorities as the deceased in an automotive collision that took place on April 14 in Apple Valley. Ms. Hinman was a passenger riding in a Toyota Sienna that crashed head-on with a Chevrolet Blazer after entering an opposing lane on Bear Valley Road at approximately 2:00 p.m. After the first collision occurred, the Toyota continued traveling across lanes and collided with a Nissan Rogue. Ms. Hinman apparently perished from her injuries at the scene. The driver of the vehicle she was in also suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. A number of less serious injuries also occurred. Witnesses are reportedly being sought. Ms. Hinman was 28-years-old and a resident of Apple Valley.
