Adam Nickelson has been identified by authorities as the victim in a bicycle collision that took place in Huntington Beach on January 19. Mr. Nickelson, a 30-year-old resident of St. Paul, Minnesota, was riding a bicycle on Beach Boulevard a few minutes midnight in the vicinity of Indianapolis Avenue when he was hit by a Honda Civic. First responders took the man to UC Irvine Medical Center where he passed away from his injuries on January 23. The 64-year-old driver of the Civic reportedly stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities though the accident remains under investigation by Huntington Beach police.
