LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Three people died Friday night after a two-car collision in Willowbrook.

The crash occurred about 7:15 p.m. near Compton Boulevard and Imperial Highway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but photos from the scene showed one car overturned.

A portion of Imperial Boulevard was closed while police investigated.
